Thank you for hanging out with me! From day to day you never know what life will throw at you. And it will often be this way in my blog as well :) But lest RUN WILD and LIVE FREE in this amazing adventure together!
Looking for a truly all-inclusive location where really anything you could want is in one location? Look no further. Gaylord Palms does not disappoint. You feel like luxury the second you pull up to this location. We were blessed to come during Christmas time (December) and the lights and decorations were bar none! They were AMAZING!
Check in was a smooth process and staff was there and ready to help at any turn (be ready to tip though). And make sure you grab a map of the grounds (or you will get lost!). The pool is massive with so many fun activities for all ages including water slides. We did not use the pool as it was a bit cool and rainy during our stay. The conference center is holding events all the time that will be entertaining for all ages as well.
Our room was very comfortable. Smart TVs included. To me though the room as a whole was basic for the price. And the “resort fee” didn’t include much that we noticed. After all you still had to pay $5 for a water if you drank the bottle in your room.
We did eat at one of the restaurants on site and it was awesome (Wrecker’s Sports Bar and Grill). Great and fast service. Wonderful food and very relaxing atmosphere.
If you are going during the holidays, make sure to check out the awesome Christmas Trees and the show right in the center of the hotel. Be ware though if you have a room facing the center during this time of year it may be loud until later in evening with the activities and festivities going on.
There is a fitness center and spa on site as well to get your exercise and relaxation in. And shops……LOTS of shops. But plan to spend airport prices on items ($5 for a soft pretzel).
I do feel this is a very family friendly resort. Just plan on spending a good amount of money here. So budget wisely and ENJOY!
