Summer is Here! Natural Sunscreen?

As we start our summer we all need to make sure we are taking care of our skin! While the sun feels great and is much welcome, especially here in Michigan, this vital step for our health is very important. In fact I am starting to get yearly skin checks done after being on prednisone 16 years and the side effects that are part of that long with it causing me to burn easier. I am happy to report this is all clear.

My research has found that Raspberry Seed Oil is a natural sunscreen option. Ranging with 28-50 spf and also has UVB and UVA protection in it. And we spend a lot of time in the water here in Michigan as we are blessed with our beautiful great lakes. So why not also use something that isn't going to harm our environment?

I used the raspberry oil today while I was at the zoo with Jayden and his friend. Did the oil on the upper arm and regular 50spf sunscreen on the lower. I am happy to report that neither spot got burnt!
